The Birthday of Our Precious Guru
On 7 September 2021, we celebrated the 77th birthday of our precious Guru, Kyabgon Sakya Gongma Trichen Rinpoche (His Holiness the 41st Sakya Trichen).
This year, His Holiness' Western and Tibetan birthdays miraculously fell on the same day: something that has happened for the first time since he was born. The monks of Sakya Centre offered a White Tara Tenshug for His Holiness' longevity and the pujas were led by Kyabgon Trizin Rinpoche (His Holiness the 42nd Sakya Trichen).
At Ngor Monastery, we celebrated our beloved and kind Guru's birthday by performing the Three Long-life Deities Puja. This puja was presided over by His Eminence Thartse Khen Rinpoche and Monks and was performed for the longevity of our precious Holy Guru in order that he remain and propagate the precious Dharma in the ten directions and achieve peace in our world.
Special visit to Ngor Monastery
On 8 September 2021, His Holiness the 41st Sakya Trichen and His Holiness the 42nd Sakya Trichen paid a special surprise visit to Ngor Monastery to see His Eminence Luding Khen Chen Rinpoche and His Eminence Luding Khen Rinpoche.
